Sharing Pearls of Wisdom, with the Hope that Others may receive a Benefit!
A Time To Share! The toughest time of the year for depression is coming. Depression and anxiety are very personal. Everyone says: “If you need anything, don’t hesitate, I’ll be there for you. ” Most of the time (despite the best intentions) it just doesn’t happen…..I’m going to make a bet, without being pessimistic, that out of my Facebook friends that less than 5 will take the time to read this to help raise awareness of and for those who have these challenges. Many of us that suffer depression can’t discuss with our families for one reason or another. FAMILIES please understand the holidays are a tough time for us inside we might stay to ourselves and not participate in family fun but believe me we want to and then we beat ourselves up because we can’t or didn’t. Be understanding this year. Just being around our family n friends means we ARE trying. We might be quiet and sit in a corner but we are there and are content to watch. Depression and anxiety suck.. Tell your depressed loved one it’s OK n your glad they are atleast able to get out of bed . Don’t get angry and argue with your depressed loved one at Christmas time. They don’t want to be that way anymore then you do. It is not something you can just snap out of. Enjoy the time together it’s holiday season. Love each other everyone!
